Will I Sin After I am Saved?

The answer is yes. We all sin after we are saved. Because... we still have our old sin nature.

Romans, 7:25 says, "I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with my flesh the law of sin."

Does sin affect our Relationship with our Heavenly Father?

God won't kick you out of his family when you sin but he will discipline you.

Hebrews 12:5-11 says, "And ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, MY SON, DESPISE NOT THOU THE CHASTENING OF THE LORD, NOR FAINT WHEN THOU ART REBUIKED OF HIM:

FOR WHOM THE LORD LOVETH HE CHASTENETH, AND SCOURGETH EVERY SON WHOM HE RECEVETH.

If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

What should I do when I sin?

As soon as you become aware that you have sinned, you should confess it
immediately to God. Then trust the blood of Jesus Christ to cleanse you.

I John 1:6-10 says, "If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not inus."

Many people believe that when they get saved that they never sin again. Don't
believe that nonsense. The Bible clearly says we sin again. I think people who
say they don't sin after salvation are justifying their wrong doing as "spiritual."
